We are truly overwhelmed by the generosity of our community. Over 1,000 bricks have been engraved with donor messages and placed on the beautiful Nobska terrace.
Wouldn't you like to be a part of this Falmouth historic site? Bricks can still be purchased and engraved with your own sentiment. Taking orders now for Fall 2025 installation.
We're excited to announce that the Friends of Nobska Light has been recognized as a valuable contributor to the Falmouth community and nominated as a potential recipient of a 2025 Martha's Vineyard Bank Community Choice Grant!
These grants not only celebrate dedication to the community but also empower the public to participate directly in the grant-making process.
Four $5,000 grants will be awarded based on community votes received -- two to Martha's Vineyard-based nonprofits and two to Falmouth-based nonprofits.
Each email address can vote once for a Falmouth nominee and once for a Martha's Vineyard nominee (voting in both communities is optional).
As we continue our progress towards the ultimate goals of preserving Nobska Light, curating items for a Maritime Museum and developing exciting educational programs to better serve our community, we count on support like the grants provided by Martha's Vineyard Bank (@marthas_vineyard_bank) to make it all possible.
