Our commitment to the preservation and protection of this beloved landmark ensures future enjoyment for our community and visitors alike.
In the fall of 2017 we did substantial work to the lighthouse tower. It looks terrific!
The grounds are open dawn to dusk. We hope you enjoy visiting.

Children must be at least 6 years of age AND 45 inches tall to enter.
Admission is free. Donations to support the lighthouse preservation and restoration are welcomed.
The line will be closed for tours at the closing time above. Anyone in line by then will be admitted.
Shoes and shirts required.
No food or drink or smoking is permitted in the lighthouse.
Backpacks, large purses, large camera bags not allowed in the light room.
Infants in carrying pouches are not allowed in the lighthouse.
No liability is accepted for personal items left unattended in or on the grounds of the lighthouse.

The Friends of Nobska Light is a 501(c)(3), incorporated in February 2015 to preserve Nobska Light Station and, since April 2016, under agreement with the US Coast Guard and the Town of Falmouth, to preserve the tower, the lighthouse keeper's house and the grounds as an educational resource open to the public. Falmouth Historical Society, Highfield Hall & Gardens, Woods Hole Historical Museum and Woods Hole Community Association cooperated to form the Friends of Nobska Light.
